Wing Chun Bio-Mechanics
Wing Chun Bio-Mechanics
Using deep relaxation one learns almost instinctively how to generate power from more intertwining muscle groups. To relax means one has to give up using force excessively. The more relaxed you are the more aware you become of excessive rigidity your body holds, you will find that through relaxation and relaxed breathing you will probably be disappointed when you discover how hard it is to actually relax.Relaxing doesn’t mean becoming weaker. Relaxing is a bit relearning new functions and capabilities your body is not normally accustomed to doing. Relaxing means self discovery because you automatically become more aware. To relax also means you have more means to listen to your body and with the correct Wing chun training you improve body or mechanical alignment. To listen to your body means that you can self communicate and ultimately learn to master yourself and your body. Wing Chun offers teaching methods that have been researched and used by many antique oriental arts like Karate, Aikido, and physical disciplines like Yoga.
The body also learns to fine tune itself and maximizes efficiency of movement without stressing muscle groups that normally would’nt be used.
The first from the Siu Nim Tao or also known as the Siu Lim Tao is a very important mind body set of movements which today are still greatly undervalued.
